CloneDVD 2 cheaper from SlySoft! With today's release of version 2.5.4.3 and just in time for Christmas, SlySoft lowered its price for CloneDVD 2 from $46US to $39US. Europeans will especially appreciate this; due to the currently weak US$ the price of CloneDVD 2 is just about 30 Euro.
A bug fix release that resolves a number of issues for VLC (VideoLAN Client). See the changelog and download VLC (VideoLAN Client) 0.8.1 plus VLC Skins Pack (which contains 4 nice skins) here!
The aspect ratio resizing was fixed in the XviD 1.1 testing build. "Forcing the aspect ratio to i.e. 4:3 or 16:9 works again.
When forcing to 4:3 etc. I strictly set the picture aspect ratio that way. So a 720x576 pixels encode becomes 720x540(!). If you fetch your calculator you'll see that this is mathematically correct."
VirtualDub 1.6.1, "the second experimental release in the VirtualDub 1.6 series has been released. This release mainly fixes a bunch of regressions in 1.6.0 and should be more stable, especially on AMD64."
